So glad you tried it!! I just did a couple of bags this week with it. Just bought two more tubes at Tuesday Morning YESTERDAY !! And, yes, I"ve gotta give you a high five.... that bag really looks a zillion times better!! :ps:

Thank you! And thanks so much for the head's up about Tuesday Morning and Leather CPR!

Wow! The bag looks amazing, great job! I have gotten a couple of vintage bags though not in as bad condition as that.
When you "give it a bath" do you put it in the washer or what do you do? I might like to try some more rehabing of bags but would like to know a bit more about what I can do.
Thanks for the information.

Holy moly! That is amazing! It is nice to know there is hope even for vintage bags in the worst of conditions! Enjoy your "new" vintage bag!

Wow! Looks new!! Great job :)

I'm going out this weekend to find me some Leather CPR. The difference after using it is amazing!

An amazing restoration! I would have thought it hopeless, but look how beautiful it turned out! Well done.

Amazing! Love looking at your rehabs!

Omg, you are a miracle worker

wow you're so good at bringing them back to LIFE! congrats on your finds...everytime i read and see your pics it makes me want to stop my my local goodwill and see what they have! congrats on finding the CPR! thanks for sharing

It looks beautiful...

Wow that's amazing! Seriously you need your little own section/virtual column for all your rehab successes!

It looks lovely, kate! What a night and day difference between before and after. Gorgeous!

Thanks for the kind words! I really enjoy finding these poor, neglected bags and bringing them back to beauty and usefulness!

I'm not sure, Apple is fine for most glove-tanned leather Coach bags but I am not crazy about the smell of the Apple Conditioner - although the scent does fade with time.

I will have to try CPR on other products, but it did a great job on this bag!

A lot of TPFers have a hard time finding Apple locally but there seems to be a lot of these Tuesday Morning stores around! Hopefully, they will keep stocking it!

Call first, I initially called the TM store nearest to my house but they were out, so I called one a few miles further away and they had lots of it!

YUP, I just called and the store in my back woods town does carry it. This is closer than Burlington for the Apple. I may just switch over. If it will work on my 65th anniversary Legacy then I will be won over for sure!!!

I love the style of that bag, katev, it seems so functional. I especially like the fact that it's convertible and has the zippered compartment.

Thanks for sharing the info on the Leather CPR........I can't find any Apple products at my local Burlingtons but I have many Tuesday Mornings around me to check out for this stuff.

That is one beautiful bag. I haven't had the chance to get out and make the rounds, you really are finding some great Coach purses.

Your Tribeca Clutch looks great and it's such a pretty bag!

Thanks! This is my first Tribecca and I really love the sleek, stylish looks of this bag.

She truly is the perfect clutch! A nice size but not so small to be useless and not so big that it's clunky. It's convertible, it has an outside slip pocket and an inside zip pocket. And now that the leather has been rehabbed it feels so smooth and sleek in my hands! I really like her a lot!

Thanks for the information.

Thanks! I have put two cloth Coach bags through the washer, a nylon bag and a wool bag. I have given baths in the sink to a number of leather bags. Mostly unlined bags but I have now dunked a couple of lined bags and had successful results!

Here is a description of my approach to rehabbing vintage bags; check out the whole thread, there's a lot of great info from TPFers in there, good luck!

We went to see a play tonight, it was an outdoor performance of Romeo and Juliet and it was lovely! I carried my new Tribecca Clutch and she was just as perfect as I had expected her to be!
