Is this true (about it being discontinued)? Because when I first read about it on this thread, my initial thought (like Becca4277) was: "sales gimmick".

OMG, i'm freakin out. I was hoping to get the Jasmine in Mandarine sometimes this summer. Hopefully they won't discontinue it anytime soon.

Do you think if we called customer service at LV they would verify this? It might be worth a try; try to get a timeline of how the color is phased out.

I actually asked about the Mandarin color being discontinued b/c I was choosing between the new Red/Silver vs. Mandarin french wallet and I didn't want something that'd be discontinued in the near future. The SA said Mandarin is not discontinued, but that Mocha has already been in the process of being discontinued along w/the Red/Gold hardware epi.

Very interesting....sounds like the Elux rep was telling a tale (it was when I was canceling my mandarine wallet).
