It's really pretty and all (the color is to die for!!), but I like my purses tame. Canvas, fabric, or leather please. I don't like hair, scales, or feathers on my purses.

I think almost anything advertised as "ponyhair" these days is really just calfhair. I know ponyhair upolstery and accessories used to be popular during the 19th century, you can still find horsehair chairs and such today. But I don't think manufacturers have been using hair from actual horses for awhile, I'd imagine it wouldn't be too popular among consumers!
Hair bags are so hard to care for. The hair might start falling out. I just don't know if I would be able to be that danity with a bag like that.
