I love this bracelet! It's more versatile for me than the full pavé version. I feel I can wear it more often. If I had the full pavé Alhambra, I would probably save it for special occasions and there are fewer and fewer of those.

I tried it on in September and fell in love with it, but didn’t get it and then I went on here and was reading a bunch of reviews that skewed quite negatively about it because of scratching. But the guilloche/pave is so glam and I can imagine myself wearing it with everything, plus then I could also get some Frivole earrings I’ve been eyeing with the price difference saved. lol I’m so addicted.
One aspect of planning and acquiring jewelry that is the same for handbags and for clothing, is to buy for the life you have, not your imaginary or aspirational life. It it so tempting to go full on bling with all the beautiful creations on offer at VCA; everything sparkles and looks so pretty under the light of the store and the photos we see here and elsewhere. How does that bling translate into my daily life? Personally, I have to be careful not to overdo it. A little goes a long way.
Great advice! I definitely wear every single piece I own 5-6xs a week (admittedly I don’t have a lot), and I’ve been careful thinking about my outfits and what I would pick in the future to wear with them. I do dress nicely day to day, so I can pull off the jewelry I want to wear. It gives me a daily boost to look at the mirror and know I pulled together a great outfit!
Reminds me of the B and Ks in my wardrobe. I rarely use them as 90% of the time is work and kid. Like you said, I wonder if i "overdo" these bags
On the contrary, i wear my VCAs almost every day. VCAs definitely appears to be a much better buy for me!
That is really exciting! I’ve thought of these combos before and I held back because I didn’t think I’d wear them enough to be comfortable with SOing them. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
I wish there was a method, a way to guarantee a forever purchase but I don’t think there is. My biggest regrets have been settling (and a couple FOMO purchases), which were most of my pendant purchases. And my best were my most used and non-settling pieces, sweet pave earrings and 6 motif, and my onyx and WG 5 motif. I DO wish I trusted my gut more. I don’t have one pic that captures all my WG pieces but here are some groupings of my most worn pieces. Vintage pave pendant and earrings elsewhere.

@eternallove4bag thank you again to you and @missie1 for advising me to hold off letting go my blue agate bracelet. I tried the combo of WMOP and BA in store today. Absolutely love it! Not to mention the iridescence of the pieces today are 😍.
It is interesting that some pieces look better when they are alone, some stacked. Tried on the guilloché too, I am personally not a fan of all metals. None the less I think this combo looks great and amazing!!
Didn’t get the chance to try on the Paquerette ring but I will ask my SA if I’m at the boutique again 😌😌 thank you for allowing me to share 🥰

LOOOOOVE that on you! I have the WMOP and really want the BA bracelet for this exact purpose. I think blue and white are gorgeous together!
I absolutely love this combo. The blue seems bright when paired with mop.

After getting one bracelet, I haven't stopped pouring over the VCA website and popular Instagram posts to force myself to get more because I saw how pretty they were at the boutique (Pics on their website don't do justice!)!
Reading your post, I realized the very same thing happened to me few years ago when I first bought Piaget, and ended up collecting quite a bit within a short span of time. I ended up rarely using any of them except one (even that one I stopped using as my ears got blocked). Also thought having a set would match best, but didn't look 'fun' at all.
