I guess I can't really decide until I see them in person but in pics the BV seems like it might be too big for my tastes.

I think I agree with the statement "a speedy should be everyone's first LV". LOL. I am half tempted to also buy a wallet......hmmmmm

I say get the BV. I have both bags and use the BV 70% of the time because I like to have my hands free and that's hard with the speedy. But I have to say both bags are wonderful :love:

They are both great bags. I just got a Speedy 25 for my first LV and I love it. The Speedy just seems to be the "archetypal" Monogram LV. But, it should really come down to whether you would be happier with a hand-held or a shoulder bag.
