Can you imagine what this would cost if VCA made it? It really is pretty. You’d have to have a very specific outfit/event to wear it to though.

There is this young lady in Instagram or TikTok who is posting high end jewelry for brands- Rebecca Bloom. She was invited to an exclusive VCA event in Capri and was asked to not repost the pieces in her social media acct.

I could only guess this necklace is Bvlgari (she’s in the middle). The lady on the left is wearing what looks like a custom VCA necklace with large hearts and an animal pendant.

Yes, that swavorski necklace would cost $$ for VCA in precious stones.

It does have a custom jewelry feel to it. Blessvch in Instagram is posting pics of the new collection and other new VCA releases.

I was thinking another release like the perlee collection may be coming out this July. Is this it for 2025?
Definitely not. There is the launching of Flowerlace gold collection in September I think and SA told me « many more to come… »

Hi! This thread has been off topic, if you’re not directly discussing Fleur’s de Hawaii collection then you’re off topic and need to head to correct threads. Thanks!

hello all together, I have mixed feelings about this collection. Although I am absolution love with Amethyst YG ring (even though I won’t have that many occasions to wear it), I was a bit surprised to discover a very similar design from Swarovski today. Fully aware that we should buy what we love, etc. But with the price tag of Hawaii collection, I would better switch to Rose de Noel or any other VCA collection which is more unique. Thank you for your thoughts.

No.. custome. But seeing this reel from a former tpf member does make me take a double look. Jewelry tend to look different in person or on videos. The amethyst ring looks beautiful in this reel. She also tried on the citrine earrings.

It looks like all their stones have large 'windows' in the center; is that common for these types of colored stones?

Yes, all these stones (rhodolite = garnet, aquamarine = beryl, citrine = quartz, peridot) have very low refractive indices which predisposes them to windowing. That glassiness. The window could be reduced with precision cutting but in pear shapes there's pretty much no way to eliminate it, it's really hard even with pear shaped diamonds and diamonds have very high refractive index.

Thank you for the comprehensive explanation! I was used to thinking windows were an indicator of poor quality or poor cut , but it seems like depending on the gem that's not necessarily the case.
I still don't prefer the look personally

I think it was an aesthetic choice to use these gemstones; these stones are all about color, not “sparkle” and I imagine the translucency of the stones is intentional to give it a bit of an ethereal feel.

I was thinking the same, the aquamarine especially reminds me of rose cut diamonds - diaphanous and ethereal. I do agree the low RI material + pear shape must have been a deliberate choice! If I recall correctly the original Hawaii collection used amethyst and peridot and... Rubellite I think?

I personally quite like these designs, they feel post-war vintage (I don't know enough about Hawaii to pass any judgments on thematic relevance)... But the pricepoint is rather unforgiving and these aren't gemstones I generally wear. So it's a pass for me.
