First time charm buyer - Pandora or Trollbeads or Chamilia?

LOL, I'm easily confused too, LMAO.

miss_chiff - It's somewhat distant (well, maybe 1/4?) so don't think a specific charm would make it into my first bracelet (special memories or symbolisms of people, etc.)... but the fact that I just said it won't be in my "first" .... yeah, I'm in TROUBLE!!! lmao I figured it would have been a good way to do double duty on the bracelet itself, but that's out the window now, LOL.

Splurgeface - wow, those trollbeads esp the muranos are gorgeous! I wish they were bigger! I really liked the pandora bracelet the best though, so...

I ordered one online, as well as the blue ribbon murano bead on Sunday night - and it's ON THE UPS TRUCK FOR DELIVERY!!! Woohoo I can't wait!!!

Well I also collect Pandora so I don't blame you, and I think you've made a good choice.

Will do! I actually JUST got it in the mail a few min ago. Kinda disappointed it only came in a plastic baggie tho (w/ the pandora bag/box thing folded up w/ it). I was hoping for the nice boxes I see. Oh well, LOL. Will have to post in the photo thread later. It's a bare one, for sure (just the blue ribbon murano at the moment), but you gotta start somewhere, right?

Definitely! Isn't it a relief when you've finally made a start to your collection? Its a really itchy feeling when you have yet to make a purchase but your head is stuffed full of ideas and beautiful charms and beads!

I only have 4 Pandora beads / charms but I've been hooked on it for so long I feel like I should have hundreds!

OMG, totally. I can't count how long I've spent using the online bracelet maker thingies, and reading posts / looking at pics, etc!

I wish it were a much less expensive habit, LMAO. I'm hoping to convince DH to trade charms for iTunes gift cards. Otherwise Christmas is a looong way away....

I recommend you take a peep before you purchase your bracelet. The last thing you want is to be enticed by them AFTER you've bought a bracelet they won't fit onto. <snip>

OMG! Those beads are lovely. Too bad they don't fit the Pandora bracelet. They have such nice black & white ones. So many of the Pandora lack beads are really black & grey, not black & white.

I like the Chamilia murano glass beads too and the faceted L'Amore Alena Marie beads.

I bought a Troll bracelet and have several Asian theme beads on it. I agree that some of them are very unique, like the Baby Dragon and the Great Wall beads that I have. I do wish they had the clips like Pandora do, though. The ideal bracelet would be a combination of the best features of all 3 brands.
