Chestnut is a fabulous color. It looks very soft and comfy to carry.It is so great to find that perfect bag, glad you love it!
Thanks! Yes, the bag is super soft, and light! I carried it to dinner and Target and it was easy to forgot it was on my shoulder. My kind of bag!

True .. LOL! I briefly thought about the black one, but I have my black Phoebe so the Chestnut caught my eye and that is the one I keep coming back to. I hope they come out with more colours as well

Me too on the more colors! I'm not a pastel kind of gal so I'm hoping that we got some jewel tones on this bag. I wouldn't have killed for it in Black Violet! Maybe this fall there will be a purple one. Hope Coach will let this bag stick around that long!

I agree that it's a nice size! I like big bags so I probably wouldn't mind if they made a bigger version of this. But if they're only going to make one, this is a good size for lots of people. Not huge but not tiny.
I loved the Phoebe and even the compartments didn't bother me once I got used to where all my stuff was. lol. But I have neck and shoulder issues and for whatever reason the thin straps on the Phoebe just didn't agree with me. Everytime I carried the bag, my neck would start hurting. I think that this is a fairly unique problem, I can't recall reading anyone else complaining about it so I guess I'm just nuts. lol. It's a great bag though!
Yes, I agree. And the bag didn't fall off my shoulder once at Target! I can't stand bags that do. It's a total dealbreaker for me.

You totally enabled me and I'm ordering a black one for myself. You already answered 2 key questions I always have about hobos : is it heavy? does it stay on the shoulder?
I also love the fact that it has just one compartment.
