18. And I bought more than one since we don't have any fancy butiques in my country. Anyways, I bought a chanel classic flap, LV perf. green speedy, a big gucci horsebit hobo and "the scarfbag" by gucci.

First bag was a Coach mini signature ergo hobo...the first bag to celebrate my career success was my LV monogram Cabas Piano & matching Tresor wallet.

My mom gave me a tiny LV purse when I was 13. Of course i didn't care about those designers at that time. LOL

18, if Dooney counts (high school grad bag with matching wallet and key chain-I was a happy, happy girl! ). If Dooney doesn't count, LV petit bucket at age 23. I was an even happier girl!!!

I had my first Coach bag when I was a junior in high school which was 20 years ago. I remember when my mother first introduced me to them and I have been hooked ever since. I have had several Dooney's as an adult also but I am assuming that they don't count. I am glad that I have a son because if I had a daughter should would already have one. By the way why don't Dooney's count? Are they considered designer?

for designer bags it would be LV cherry blossom pochette as 18th birthday gift.. however I got my first Manolo boots when I was 10!! (way before Sex and the city!)
