First bag should be a classic flap in caviar or lamb in black. That being said, I have black crumpled WOC with black hardware. My daughter has black caviar with shw. Snd that looks fresher!! Mine is bla. And I own the mini blue with rainbow hw and I love it. But it’s like my 15th Chanel bag. But I do love it. Get a classic flap with the gold hardware. Wait for what you truly want snd don’t settle!! Good luck!!

I went with the shiny so black! The shine keeps it interesting IMO. In summers I wear a lot of color, but when it cools down I always end up in head to toe black, so either would have been a great option but I'm happy with my choice! I see a lot of classic flaps daily, so I'm happy to have something slightly more unique than the standard.
I don't think I made it clear in my first post but as much as I would love a lambskin it's just not realistic to my everyday lifestyle. I have a tendency to destroy things and I think thats what put me off from buying it in the past. I don't have many bags so I figured I could always get another black bag in the future but durability was important for my first flap, and I'm not a huge fan of caviar. I do still have my eyes on the blue mini as a fun summer bag, but who knows what the future holds!
