The leather on mine is more crumpled, but I think it depends on the treatment, that maybe doesn't always turn out the same...How is yours doing? I can't wait to use mine!

YOUR BAG IS SO BEAUTIFUL! The lighting captured the shine really well, or maybe it's the crumpling creating that extra special look!
Unfortunately, my bag has to spend a few more months on the shelf until warmer, outdoor dining, weather comes, and I've been counting down the days in the meantime. I would be lying if I said I haven't pulled her out at least one a week to style with!
I never thought I would want the medium size, and I'm still not sure what the best size for me is, but I had been eyeing it for months, and it was just way too beautiful to leave in the store.
I'm wondering if the leather will "crumple" more with use or if the coating prevents that from happening, but I honestly just picked the least crooked one my store had! LOL.
Please update me when you get a chance to use yours! I'd love to see how you style yours/how it wears!

I totally understand you: this bag is my graduation present and, because my graduation will take place in April or in May, I’ll have to wait, too! I just want to be sure to have the bag, so I purchased it long before the occasion it was meant to
So was it your choice to pick up the less crumpled one? I did exactly the opposite: my local store had three and I took the more crumpled that was also the shiniest!
Honestly, I don’t think it will crumple more with time. At least, I hope so: if it will, it means the leather is very delicate and not as sturdy as my SA told me!
Yours is in the M/L size, isn’t it? Mine is in the same size. I think is the perfect one, especially as a first Chanel, as is the classic dimension.

Yes! It felt like it was meant to be just the fact that it was still in stock! The small size has been sold out for almost a year so I slept on it for a few months, then decided to just go for it and get the medium instead of missing out completely.
I didn't really get much of a choice between the bags in terms of the crumpling. The first bag they showed me was bent inwards on the tiny flap with the CC logo. They showed me a second option, but from the side one half of the top flap was severely higher than the other. They only had one more that was still in the box, so I snagged it!
I agree your bag is super shiny, and I think it looks great! One of the main reasons I couldn't resist, was the positive comments I heard about the durability when the bag came out, but who knows! Is Is it your First Chanel as well or do you have other sizes?

Same reaction here! I saw this bag in two different stores and in the second one they had this bag not only in both the small and medium sizes but also more than one per model! I can't believe I was able to still find so much stock: the SAs told me that was because of the lockdown...
I had similar issues: in the store where I bought mine they had three medium flaps in this combo, all with some problems. The first had a discolouration problem with the chain, the second had a more browinsh finish and the third one (which actually was the first they showed me and was the one I picked in the end) had a tiny stain due to the glue they use during the production. Luckily the SA was able to partially remove the glue, but a small, quite invisible, mark was still there: I hope it will rub off with time!
I was quite surprised by all these quality issues: for the price we pay, the bags should all be perfect or, at least, be perfectly inspected...
Hope the leather will really be sturdy and durable! Can't wait to unbox and use mine! This is my one and only Chanel: I always wanted one, but I really don't like caviar and I was always too scared of lambskin (as you may have understood, I'm a perfectionist
and I don't want my bags to get ruined in a heartbeat).Thanks
