You guys, I miss the old ebay finds thread. There was so much fun enabling and light hearted fun. It is kind of quiet now. Hard to flip to a second thread. Was the old thread really so bad? Don't have any desire to stir the pot but I just wonder who was disturbed by the way it was.

As a frequent poster to that thread I am sort of sad, too.
I remain unsure of what I can post. Can I post it is a good seller?
Can I post I think it is stunning and someone should grab it?
Or that I have it and love it, too. Sigh. Besides I loved to hear the whistling.
It made all the enabling fun (he he)

I asked some questions to the seller about this and then the listing was pulled and relisted.
I bid again but when heard back from the seller she said her teenage son was selling it (bad sign) then she claimed she got it form Angelina Jolie (another bad sign) so I withdrew my bid because though it looks authentic I have concerns it is not in their possession. I just withdrew my bid and this is the note I got back.

What kind of sad and pathetic person are you anyway?

Do you WANT to have some horrible return on your behavior?

And it will far supercede just being kicked off of ebay.

^^ it was from angelina jolie!?!?!?!? they should have come back with a more legit story. hehehe maybe you should tell her (in response to her nasty note) that you're angelina and you definitely didn't give any of your scarves away!

on a more serious note, TT, sorry that you got such a nasty note. hope no tpfer bids on the shawl!

I am sure it wasn't you at all.
Your bag is so amazing it deserved all the whistling. I think it was just a trend the MODS saw.
Not sure really sure but that's what I think.

There are lots of nutcases on Ebay but not usually too bad in the Hermes scarves and accessories. That one took me by surprise. My take is it may be stolen, and I do not want any part of that.
So yeah, next time I see Angela (and actually she was supposed to be at one of our Airshows last summer but she ended up with a conflict) I will tell her I know what happened to that pretty Hermes stole she got from Brad last Christmas.
Her cleaning lady's kid sold it on Ebay~~~

rox, your himalaya is absolutely BREATHTAKING, i can't speak for anyone else, but i definitely would love to see MORE pictures of your himalaya croc!! you rock (no pun intended:)) it!

ETA: TT LOL you're definitely taking the high road here. the internet sometimes brings out the worst in people :(

Good grief Tankertoad that is one nasty seller! Sorry you had to deal with their BS, you are wise to move along and not look back! Good thing you're rubber and their glue so everything they say bounces off of you and sticks to them! :p LOL!
