I've had both, and I think the Deauville is much more practical ( I have a 30 Speedy and can never find anything inside it!) whereas in the Deauville you have all separate pockets and find your stuff immediately...

As many speedies as there are in NYC, I've seen 3 people in the past week carrying Deauvilles, and I always turned around to look at the bag as it went by (I don't even look at guys as much as I look at bags!! ), and it had a great shape and didn't seem heavy for their owners, either!

I'm not usually a speedy fan, but I like it better than the Deauville, which to me looks like a dowdy peice of luggage.
