i dont mix brands but i do use my evelyne ajustable straps on my kellys . especially when traveling because they give me length and comfort and a more sporty like look.

Thanks for your opinions! Will post pics tmr when I get up. So far I have used the Fendi bag strap on my diorrisimo and mini berline and have gotten many compliments

I love it. I actually went to Fendi in Milan and tried the straps on for my vintage kelly in Rouge H. Too bad they didnt have any that matched in ghw. The SA told me to wait because Fendi is likely to introduce new colours. Go for it if you like it!!! :)

This really speaks to me as its the K bag that attracted me to H in the first place and of course the classic canvas strap that zelwegger used ...

Have H canvas straps for all Ks except for my etain ... .... :)
Maybe a 25 in long that is looking like an amazone as my 40 K came with a leather strap !!!

thank you gracekelly. yes the K is rouge H box calf. the red on the strap is quite bright - more rouge vif than rouge H but due to the combo with the beigey part of the strap, i feel it works with rouge H as it tones down the red...can' take better pics for you right now as i am travelling and won't be back for a few weeks. happy to do it when i am back though. let me know if you would like me to do that :smile1:

thank you amacasa. lucky you...i wish i have H canvas straps for all my kellys but sadly no...and no guarantee when they will appear even if an order was put in...i hope you find one for your etain K.

I most definitely would and have ordered Fendi straps for my H bags. I don't see why not. There are no rules, only how you want to wear your bag. Don't be too concerned about what others think.

For me, I like the correct match in hardware , color , leather type and length . So far , I've been lucky to order and receive my shorter canvas straps for Evelyne & Bolide. Recently ordered shorter narrow leather strap for blue glacier kelly 28 when the opportunity for order was available at my local store . Would have ordered shorter & broader leather kelly strap for rose confetti Evelyne if leather color had been available .

Will go check out fendi straps if there's a close match to Epsom RC.

I've always been one of those people who liked everything "matchy matchy". Everything the same brand, same collections, all my jewelry in one color... Recently I've changed my opinion.... If you like the way it looks, I think you should defiantly go for it! (I would love to see a picture!) I think the strap will make the kelly truly yours, because chances are, you will never see anyone with the exact same bag.
