An older Gucci. I wish I knew more about this one, I think I bought it early in Tom Ford years or right before. It was a great deal on sale, I don’t even know if it’s real reptile or embossed. But I love it and the heavy brass clasp.

I own a rainbow of brown bags. It is definitely my all time favorite bag colour.
This one I use a lot these days:

I've seen the 2nd pic several times in media already - couldn't pin it fast enough! I'd not given the Peekaboo a 2nd look before but in this brown, it's gorgeous.think brown is back on stage; the Fendi Brown zucca is very beautiful
This thread had me digging for bags that I totally forgotten about. There's nothing like a old vintage bag in the color brown. I have vintage Coach, Fendi before they went under the Louis Vuitton brand, Marc Jacobs, Lucky Brand, Frye bags that will last forever and Cole Haan. I have the L.V. and vintage Fendi in the brown zucca print. View attachment 4214930 View attachment 4214931 View attachment 4214932 View attachment 4214934
My brown on brown
I love this thread and all the bags in it. I’ve always loved all the shades of brown, tan, and fauve, especially on pricey bags that I buy as lifetime pieces. They age beautifully and become richer in time. They look even better as they get a little worn and patinated. Thank you papertiger for celebrating this underdog of a color!
This is the only pic I have handy, I hope to add more as I pull them out to use. My floppy 15plus year old chocolate Togo B

I always wear my brown bags with black shoes, usually my docs, and have no issues with the combination.
LOL - this thread comes at a great time - I am currently contemplating a H vintage bag that I have only ever seen in brown. I haven't had brown in the true sense of the colour for many years - when I was in school 20 years ago it was one of the classics people were wearing. With silver hardware I think it would look so cool! and for the first time in ages I bought a brown trouser - last time early 00s. if I pull the trigger I will come back here and post - my DH doesn't care about trends and has been into brown for-ever - one of his permanent colour choices
