Feeling Brown?

I’ve really enjoyed reading this thread, as I didn’t get brown at all until recently, when I fell in love with the color mahogany. Here’s a picture of my very new and small brown family, a The Row Pail bag, a The Row Two for One 12, and a pair of block-heel Tod’s sandals to go with both bags. The lighting wasn’t great and the picture doesn’t do any of these pieces justice, but I’m excited to take many of my spring and summer looks up a notch with them. I think they will add an edge an an earthy vibe to dresses and outfits I’ve been wearing for years that would otherwise look a bit frilly/prissy/dated. That’s the hope anyway - mahogany in summer will at least be something different from the beige and nude that I see everywhere (and don’t care for at all).

I love The Row bags! Fabulous picks! I also have never been able to make beige/nude/taupe work for me the way brown does.
Sooooo gorgeous!!!!
Thank you so much! It's Dooney and Burke and lovely quality, plus the leather still smells amazing after a year of wear. Just goes to show, you can find beautiful quality bags even at lower price points!
The bags on this thread are TDF, no colour ages better than brown and the quality shines through.

My newest (new to me) bag is Chocolate brown, may I present to you my Hermes Box leather Chocolate Plume 28

Ta da!!!
Box leather is such a dream, and so is the H chocolate shade!!

D&B lives by it's leather quality. I am a huge fan just from gazing at pics alone.

Thank you

I should do an H choc comparison shot. Choc Box is close enough to Ebene in other leathers to make me question, Choc in Swift seems to have a more red undertone, but they are both officially Chocolate.

Beautiful and I have her bigger sister here trying to take over the room. You do have to let us know tips how to wear it.

Woman after my Heart

<3 so with you on brown being a staple. Your Plume is amaze****

I can't believe Mulberry discontinued Oak, OMG that's ridiculous, showing how fabulous both these Darwins are here, Etoupe Evie, another smart-casual classic. Great aesthetic Pessie

Loving your saddle bag too, stunning bag, wow Bringing back feelings of guilt for selling my vintage non-brand handmade saddle bag to make way for my new Lady Web suede Gucci a couple of years ago, but can't keep them all.
Oak was/is such a great color. As soon as I could afford it I bought my mom a Bays in Oak. Always makes me think of her.
