i have been loving my Evelyne for the summer but not sure it’s great with a heavy winter coat in the snow. What is your favourite bag to wear with a heavy coat?

My Evelynes are my most used bags (overall, not just H) so I use them year-round. The only problem— and it’s a real nit — is that it’s not always easy with a heavy coat with a big hood. I’m constantly forgetting I need to put the hood up when I put the bag on and take it off — with the hood off, the strap of the Evie always gets sort of tangled up with the hood. So it can be cumbersome.

I still wear my Evies with heavy winter coats, but it’s easier to wear a shoulder tote that doesn’t interfere with the hood and has room for my hat and gloves.

I think Evelyne looks pretty sexy worn crossbody across a trench or heavy wool coat with a wide belt. You can put together some great looks depending on your style with monochromatic or contrasting accessories. What color is your bag?

I only wear a Burberry trench coat, and every H bag looks fine with it.

Ooh lovely! :tup:this thread Needs some visual!

I am the opposite, and I am sure I am the odd one here. With my one and only elvie 29, I tend to wear it in winter as I like wearing it cross body with a long coat to complete the look or to make my outfit less formal. But then I don't wear "thick" winter coats, or thick puffer jackets. Maybe it is just me
