I agree with the cervo hobo BV in nero being my favorite black bag. I'd buy it myself if I didn't already own this style in Ebano. LOL

^^ yeah I just looked at the BV site and the price is not bad as I thought. Normally when I see BV I think straight $2000 or more. but this is an ok price for me. thanks alot for the photo you really made me have this bag on my list

What is your favorite black bags style and designer?

Mine is a balenciaga hobo with silver hardware. However, I am poor and had to sell it. Now my go to black bag is a Coach patent Zoe.

Looking for ideas.

^^Nothing wrong with a Zoe bag! It's beautiful. The way I look at bags is their style and not their brand name. Actually, it wasn't until I joined TPF that I became so aware of the brand names. I've always bought designer bags but not based on their names, but based on the performance and style of the bag and still do! I've been eyeing a BV Nero (Black) Veneta for a year now. I only buy hobo style bags, so I would say as of right now, that is my favorite.

No, I did not mean it like that. I love my coach bag. Just saying that it wasn't my first choice. I am not a purse snob, so please share any designer and shape. I also prefer a slouchy shoulder bag.

Look at the Linea Pelle Alex tote-the leather is TDF-soft, smooshy, and shoulder straps never slip off-I really love it!!
