Hope you feel better. If handbag shopping relieves the pain or at least distracts
you from it's worst, then shop away. Handbag shopping is healthier than
lots of meds. And you get to enjoy the handbags for years.

I purchased a clutch bag. I will now have two non-Dooney bags. I'm very loyal to D&B, but I feel I should have a couple of small clutch bags tucked away. I also purchased shoes. Both items about -50% off.Hope you feel better. If handbag shopping relieves the pain or at least distracts

I find some of my best gems in the middle of the night… we can all understand everything you feel here. I have gifted 5 bagsout of my collection to my aunt in Florida and acouple Ive never even carried. I got them during the holiday sales. The small Florentine satchel is going to a new Florida home with my aunt. I hope she enjoys them all. Oh I almost put mt natural cooper in the dust bag but oh no way I’m giving it up.i really love my natural Florentine cooper hobo. Also I thought about giving my black Florentine barrel but I do like it . I’d get another color in the barrel if I give it away. But there’s no telling if it will come back in stock. If it does come back in stock I’ll want ginger and or chestnut. Omg I love me some Florentine. I tried to gift bags that were lighter in weight and no to big for my suntie

The bag was okay, but not for the price. The color looked like a very pale blue online (Kayu Iris clutch) and was a darker aqua IRL.I don't blame you! After the great deal I found, with my Dooney Alto Arietta bag in black for $199, I could not justify the Kayu for $179.
I'm really a pretty consistent Dooney fan. Over the years I have had a few issues with quality, but considering the purchase of at least 50 - 60 handbags (+ travel, cosmetic cases, wallets, gift giving), this is a very small percentage of problem purchases.
You will probably find a Dooney bag that works as a clutch. All you have to do is keep trolling the web sites. Of course, that puts a lot of temptation in your path. But with spring around the corner (hopefully) there should be more pretty colors to tempt us.:_
The pretty spring colors can be very tempting. They may not be
'new', but they haven't been around for a while. And they may be
similar to colors of past years or they may be exact.
I think some of it depends on fashion trend forecasts as
production is planned in advance. And some it depends
on what the large buyers (retail or online companies) want to
order. Some years QVC seems to have more of a rainbow of
colors (across different leathers) and some years it's neutrals.
With fewer shows, it's harder to get a sense unless you search
online. And there are still some department stores that sell Dooney
and have had 'exclusive' styles and colors in the past.
And of course, then we want to wait for the best price
we can find, which can mean waiting for the overstock to show up
on ILD.

I struggled with the black Florentine barrel and natural cooper hobo. The decision was to keep those two in my collection. I really like the Flo barrel it heavy to me and I don’t carry a lot these days. But I want to carry my nice Florentine bags…. I love Florentine leather,. I am spoiled and want only Florentine, I’ll be adding a new natural Florentine. I’ll post pics when I pick it from the store in Aurora illinois, got to keep that store open.
