im looking into different brands...I love VCA so much. The quality and service (in the US...in London VCA SA’S are horrible from personal experience)...and David Morris is gorgeous.

What is your fav brand of jewellery esp. where you have bought diamonds?

Go Asprey if you're in London. They'll make you whatever you want (although it may take a while).

The problem with VCA, Cartier and perhaps a couple of others is they don't have to work very hard in London. If you're in London and fancy VCA again, try Harrods.

I'm not that much of a gems girl because unless someone's spending $100K on stones they are not really in the investment category and therefore go for meaningful and impactful design/quality craft.

I love having my jeweller create customized pieces for me. I can get inspired by luxury brands And then I put my own twist on it. Much less expensive and the same pleasure in wearing. I also buy preloved jewellery and can find great products that way, sometimes designers at greatly reduced prices. I don’t get any satisfaction from overpaying for pieces just because they have a name. On the other hand I love designer bags....strange.
