I could be nuts but I was checking my individual Birkin bag dimensions, one ostrich one fjord, and I saw they varied quite a lot by eyeball and by dimensions listed on Fashionphile and TheRealReal. Then I started cross checking the same bags on either sites, I started to notice that most of the ones I checked have different dimensions listed, even within type. Are you familiar with this? Is it normal because they are handmade. It's pretty significant.

Yes, it’s to be expected. I assume it has to do with the pliability of the specific hide being used and how tightly the individual artisan pulls things as she stitches. A 2-3 cm variance from the stated bag size seems within expected range.
