I agree with you. In fact, since the NM I am noticing more "new bags" that are selling what you would pay for in stores/boutiques that have been marked down. I can't get myself to pay for some of these items. If they are last season and its overstock inventory, it needs to be a better bargain.
I definitely am also noticing that bags I like will “sell” just before they are supposed to be discounted. Then, relisted at a higher price a few days later. I don’t know if they are bought and returned or just relisted at a higher price?

Just curious, has anyone got a quote from FP and then the quote was lowered when they received the bag?
I have sold 10 items to Fashionphile and have only received less than the original quote one time. It was a lambskin Chanel bag and they said the condition was worse than they realized from the photos. They gave the option to return the bag to me if I didn't want to accept the new offer. I still sold it. I am willing to take a 20-30% loss on items, but not the 40-50% loss that they have been offering recently. I am going to try resubmitting my items as others suggested since there seems to be variance in their quotes.

I’ve been wondering if the recent financial situation of Neiman Marcus would affect fashionphile’s quote.
I’m very curious about this too as I have a fairly decent amount of credit with them...
Someone asked Fashionphile that question on their social media 3 days ago. Their response was that they are separate companies so luckily it won’t affect them.
