Fashionphile Buyout Price

I have a long purchasing history with Fashionphile - long before it became a big player in the game. However, one time I showed them my birkin and days later...... they told me that "we don't buy B or K from international buyers" - I live in the US and have purchased many things from them, yet they somehow think I am an international buyer. After that, I never wanted to sell any of my bags to them. They are far from being professional.

That is true. I noticed things have gotten worse with payout when they partnered with NM. Wish I held my 227 after the price increase - If I only knew. I've also noticed they are selling bags close to retail or markdown price at boutique. For example, I was eyeing a Balanciega - the copied the Alma tote style, not the City totes. It was on sale from previous season. FP priced the bag the same price on sale at boutique. I wonder if that is leftover merchandise from NM stores as they were several of them? If FP going to sell retail like bags and cost we'd pay in store; they need to adjust their prices or offer a smoking finance free layaway program.

Nope they suck on a whole other level. They used to be decent but since Neimans came along they’ve been horrific. I submitted a popular jumbo in grey 17 B and got a quote from them for half the price. Same with other items I gave up.

So is anyone actually still selling to FP or are there better choices out there? I am not looking to consign now but was counting on being able to in the future without (hopefully) losing too much...

I have been watching many bags, which lately have been taken down (or sold) and then I get a notification that they are back in stock at a much higher price. I wonder if its due to the Christmas season.. I am hoping to see the prices go back down when sales are a little slower. Otherwise, I'll have to find a new place to find used bags.

Interesting... I have noticed some relisted bags but didn’t notice this trend. Will be keeping my eye on this now.
