The size would probably work for me because it's a little larger than the Mercer 30, and I thought the was a nice size, I just didn't like the turnlock and something else bugged me about the Mercer 30 but I could never figure out what. The Rogue might be my perfect bag, if it's not too heavy, but I'd have to choose between that and the Outlaw...maybe the Outlaw will be the perfect bag. I'll see on Monday.

Mineral. Monday can't get here quick enough. I'm really hoping I like this one. From the details online I think I will, and I already know that it doesn't have a kisslock inside, which is fine. Now, my concerns are the color and the type of leather. Do you have any idea what grain leather is? The Mercer 30 is in grain leather, which, on that bag, reminds me of pebble leather, but from the pictures of the Outlaw, it doesn't look like the same kind of leather as the Mercer 30.
The mineral looks really pretty. I ordered the Rogue in mineral and J think it will be here Tuesday. I don't know what grain leather is, in the online pictures it almost looks like it has a little sheen to it, but that might just be me?!
Sallyinmaui is getting her Outlaw in mineral today, and I can't wait to get her input. I'm sure you'll love the Rogue. I just love the zipper compartment of that bag, which was something I didn't like about the Ace. I had the same Ace you had and returned it also.
At least two suede and two pebbled leather regular size Rogue bags. Pebbled leather colors are oxblood and black. I am interested in the Black T Rex design one. I was told that they will be $795.

I keep most of that on the inside. The IPad mini is on the side with my phone and ID holder. Those pouches hold makeup and emergency items and are not small. So it hold quite a lot.
