It was hard for me to return. I had returned it once and repurchased during PCE only to return it again. I decided to pack it with my items and see how I liked it because I'd spent so much on PCE I wanted to start narrowing down to the purses I absolutely loved. I found it to be heavy, about as heavy as the Rogue. I loved the crossbody strap and thought I'd be okay with carrying it crossbody or over the shoulder, but it looked odd with my items in it, stuck out too much, and I don't carry that much.

Also, for me, the turnlock pockets weren't that useful because I have a large Samsung Note 4 that wouldn't fit comfortably, and I also have the glovetanned key case by Coach that didn't fit. That said, the inside fits a lot and there's a nice spot for my phone. But I couldn't figure out how to use those pockets other than for receipts. Bottom line, I loved the way it looked, but it wasn't functional for me. The final straw was when I took it out of the dust bag to just stare at it again to make a final decision and the leather was doing something strange..it was fuzzy in spots, not sure what you call it or how to describe it but it was lifting up in three or four small spots and I felt with time it would look terrible.

I do still like the purse because it's certainly unique and may still purchase the glovetanned pebble leather version when it's released.

That was my experience but Alexa5 loves hers.

Thanks for the great review, Anne! I appreciate it. The first thing I thought when I saw the black Outlaw was "oh my gosh, that looks like a purse my grandmother has from the 40s." I absolutely LOVE the vintage look! It's exquisite. It was difficult to decide between the black and mineral (I didn't buy it, but I couldn't figure out which one I liked better.) I agree with what you said about how it sticks out. It looked a little funny cross body and over the shoulder, and I didn't even have anything in it. If I do buy it, I think I would be holding it at the elbow to accentuate the vintage look. Here are both colors. (Oh, and I also agree about the outside pockets, not sure how functional they would be. Speaking of lack of function, has anyone seen the Ace Satchel 14? LOVED! Cutest thing I have ever seen. But I couldn't even fit my iPhone 6 inside without shoving it in.) ImageUploadedByPurseForum1461468858.109950.jpgImageUploadedByPurseForum1461468872.151124.jpg

It is a beautiful color and looks great on that bag. I'm not sure what the leather was doing and it may not have been a serious issue. I know when I purchased it the rep said with that type of leather you only need to clean it with a clean cloth and water because it's polished grain leather. Since I'd already decided to return it, I didn't bother to wipe it off to see if the leather was damaged or just needed to be cleaned. These were very tiny spots. I hadn't used the bag other than to put my things in it to see how they fit, so I didn't think it needed to be cleaned. I kept it in the dust bag and it came in factory wrapped condition.
Thanks, it's good to know all that info.

Yes, it's the vintage look that I love. Thanks so much for the pics! I'm so wanting to see the marine irl. Although something tells me the chalk would be my favorite. :) (as if I didn't already have enough white bags. [emoji1] )

The Outlaw looks adorable on you! I love it! (I used to have a very large collection of vintage bags, I adored the details from the 30's, 40's and 50's). And I agree, the tiny Ace Satchels are incredibly cute ... but so tiny!

The mineral looks so nice. I had the mineral at one time but returned because the one I received had a lot of green in it. The one you're holding looks more blue, which I like.

The outside pockets are very functional fyi. I use the front one for my phone. I use the back one for keys. Allows the rest of the bag to be used for other items. Just wanted to share this info as most regular sized phones do fit...just not the larger types.

I just want to add I think one of the reasons I like the outlaw and the pockets as well is the bag functions as nicely for me as the 65th anniversary shoulder bag that has the front pocket with the turnlock and the back open pocket. The look is a bit different, but it is a similar size and functional style.

Any chance the Outlaw posts could be cross-posted or moved to Outlaw thread? There's some detailed and very helpful info there for Outlaw-fans, and they would have a hard time finding it here.

Ok not to, but just wondering...

Curious, what are your opinions on wearing the rogue with casual clothing? Kind of like v-neck and skinny jeans type casual? What clothing do you all wear it with? I've been getting opinions that it seems more "business like" lately.

^^^^Yes! This is my favorite way to wear it^^^^ Black v-neck, skinny jeans, distressed camel leather booties/ mules/ chunky high sandal and... Black rogue.

Have had mine since the March PCE. The more it breaks in, the better it looks with casual outfits. Have the black, which has a wide range from business to evening to casual, because the suede lining is also black, it is very versatile. Weirdly, feel like the monochrome all- black can swing both more formal and more casual than some of the colors.

I think the Rogue has an edginess to it honestly & use my 2 (saddle & black) with jeans almost always!

V neck t-shirt + jeans + rogue = STYLISH...JMO...

I don't work outside my home, so this is my daily outfit. I think it looks great with casual clothing....:smile1:
