I returned mine for the same reason, I shared my experience in the clubhouse.
Same as you, I loaded it up with my essentials the night before, tried it on and moved right out. The bag is heavy no matter how pretty it is.
And trust me I went through heck just getting that bag so it was a riot returning it but I did. Maybe the 25 will be a better fit but I completely eliminated that bag from my vocabulary.

Wow and I know you aren't as opposed to heavy bags as I am, so if you couldn't handle it I have no chance lol!!!

I didn't get to try it on before hand but I know that I would have done the same thing. It would have felt heavy but I wouldn't have noticed it. I've dove the same thing with shoes too many times to count. They never hurt in the store only at home.

I think years of hauling guitars and equipment has made me immune to any weight issue. While I found my rogues heavier than a lot of my bags it's not a problem for me even though I'm very petite. I guess anything feels light though after always having at least 1 guitar on my back, plus a tote, and a bag lol

I'm thinking I must be a beast because I've carried my Rogue everyday since I got it. 😬

Beast twins! Not only heavy to start - you can tell it's LOADED for the schlep to work on the train. LOVE this bag for commute because of the suede outer pockets. Gloves, tissues, earbuds - so easy to get to stuff while en route!

Ok, I am up for the Rogue challenge since I've cut tags and do love it! I'm going to start carrying it lightly filled with essentials along with another small tote. Hopefully my wimpy self will get used to the weight and I will start loading her up little by little, one stick of gum at a time until I can use this beautiful bag.

I'm having a scary flash back to when I was a child and my parents wanted me to play the accordion but luckily I couldn't assume a standing position with that crazy thing on me, so they bought a piano. Bet this Rogue weighs the same lol!

LOL that's the spirt!! Maybe start training with weights and kettle balls! :p You can do it!!

It looks amazing on you! Love your style!!!

I have no problems with the weight either, but I'm used to carrying heavy bags. This bag is my new daily driver for sure. I just can't get enough of it!

I carried mine for the first time today so I will share my thoughts. I found it to be too heavy & hard on my shoulder when I used the straps. I was trying on clothes & noticed that I had a red mark on my shoulder from it. I removed the shoulder straps & hand/satchel carried it, & it was much more manageable- still heavy, but manageable. This is what I carried (sunglasses, phone, & keys not pictured):
