The BP/Black has me very intrigued as I'm still deciding what to do about the black python rogue. It has gorgeous black hardware, but I wonder if I would like the new black one coming out the same or more. It's quite an up charge for the python handles and tags compared to the all leather versions.

Oohhhh - Seeing BP/ black and BP/oxblood makes me wonder if the color refers to the suede lining. A black pebbled Rogue with oxblood suede (with either black or gunmetal hardware) would be breathtaking.

Funny, when I bought my black rogue, that's what I said to my SA- "imagine how gorgeous this would be in black with oxblood suede'

I am newly returning to Coach with the 1941 bags, so most of you here know a LOT more than I do (and more than many SAs. I don't know what SAs know about future releases and how soon they know it- but I wonder if he just quietly nodded and agreed so I would buy the one they already have. It's possible- because when I asked him about a larger size, he said no - it's just this size.

Well today, yes. But in a few weeks or months...

Honestly, I've met a lot of SAs that just try to sell you what they have in store that day. When you ask about any upcoming colors/sizes they just play dumb. Once I started mentioning "oh I'm on tpf a bit" they completely change their tune. They then go to their computer and magically find all this info that they just got done saying was impossible to find.

I feel like I'm out of the loop now for upcoming bags, sizes, colors, etc because my favorite SA who always emails me about new things is out on maternity leave. I have been working with a new SA that she recommended and she's really nice but just not the same. I'm sure she is probably busier than usual though because she has her normal clients plus taking over for my favorite SA.

I'm hoping to find out soon what the BP/black rogue looks like before I make up my mind on the python black rogue.

I get the same thing. There's two boutiques I frequent, and at one point everyone knew me. If there was a new SA there when I'd walk in, one of the others would say "This customer knows more about Coach than we do" and we always had fun looking new stuff up and showing photos. All my regular SA's left this past year, so I have to break in a bunch of new ones now!

Such a true statement. I've gotten the how do you know that look from an SA and I hardly know a thing or two picked up from this forum. [emoji6]

Wow- yes, I'll have to mention that next time. I have never been in the loop for Coach- so that will have its limits, but I'll also just call it out, as in 'hey, if you tell me that the perfect bag I just described may be coming out in a few weeks, I'll wait, but when it lands, I'll buy it from you. I need to be able to trust you to help me get the bag(s) that are right for me, not just the ones that happen to be right here.

Pretty sure the BP/Black Rogue is black pewter hardware.
