MUCH PRETTIER than I was expecting.

How is the weight compared to the leather ones?
It feels a little lighter than my oxblood one. But I was in the minority and didn't find my oxblood Rogue to be heavy. I'm definitely keeping the suede. When I compared the color, I love the 1941 saddle color in suede and even though it doesn't have a contrasting color the way the oxblood one does, it has the contrast with the suede and leather and because it's a lighter color you can see all the little details. I didn't like this color on the larger Outlaw, but I love it on the suede...it's bright and versatile. I can't wait to hear what everyone else thinks when they receive theirs.

Is the color rich or is it lighter? In your pictures the color looks sort of light.

Thanks!
The color is more rich than the pictures depict. I think it appears lighter because I used a flash. The photo on the Coach website matches the color if not exact very close. It's a little deeper than tabac. And it came with a huge 1941 dust bag, which I like. The dust bag that came with the oxblood Rogue just fit it.

Beautiful bag, Anne! Thanks for sharing your pictures! I think you're making the right choice in keeping the suede...soft smooshy goodness! Everyone needs at least one suede bag in their collection[emoji173]️

Here are the two Rogues.

Based on that, I think you should keep the suede. Plus, I sense that you love it more. It certainly is gorgeous....:smile1:
Thanks! I really appreciate everyone's input. Now that I've put them side by side, I actually like both of them equally. The oxblood is less fuss because it's leather, but I've never had a suede bag and love this one with the leather interior and trim.

Seeing them side-by-side makes it so much more difficult! If you think it will become your go-to bag, and it's a possibility, I'd keep them both! I've had my Hay/Ostrich, and Black for almost 2 weeks - I switched out of the black one day, and immediately back into it. Rain has prevented me from carrying the ostrich - but I can see them both being my "daily" bag....... I love the Rogue!

Okay, I ran some tests on my suede/nubuck boots with the Fry protector and the Apple Brand Rain and Stain Protector sprays. The Frye seems to change the texture of the suede just a teensy bit, but that can be brushed out. Both provide nice beading of water splashed on it. Both returned water splashed areas to normal after gentle dabbing and left to dry. I think I have a slight preference for the Apple Brand protector for the Rogue due to it being lighter and finer than the suede I used for testing. The Frye is water based and requires complete saturation followed by drying. The Apple is a fine chemical mist that dries almost immediately. It therefore seems more gentle to the "shag" of the suede.

@luv2shop1, I'm getting mine on Friday too.

OMG! You got it!!! Let's see more pictures. Sidebysides with the Oxblood please? Also, could we see the suede purse standing up with both the shoulder strap and the handles dangling outside the bag? And any chance you would mod shot it for us? Please? Pretty please???
I doubt I'll use anything on the suede Rogue. The care instructions provided with the purse are the generic ones, stating to use the Coach moisturizer and cleaner, but on Coach.com it clearly states: Please DO NOT use Coach Leather Moisturizer on Glovetanned Leather, Calf Suede or Haircalf. I called Coach and asked what they suggested, and the rep put me on hold to check and stated that I can't use anything with water in it on the suede or it will get damaged. She said just wipe the bag off with a dry cloth or use a suede brush. I have a really nice suede brush that I'm going to use and that will probably be it.

I do love them both. However, right now, I think my saddle bags will be my go-to bags. I just love the convenience of a flap bag. I'm going to carry the suede Rogue and if I really enjoy carrying it, I might keep the oxblood Rogue. I'd probably carry the suede mostly in the spring/summer and the oxblood in the fall/winter.
