Hey there!Anyone else notice this? Or did it already come out and I didn't see it? Or appear in a department store somewhere? It's supposed to be 37535, some sort of pouch. It *looks* like they're trying to re-create a vintage style, at least to my eye. Looks leather-lined as well. It comes in black with oxblood edging/stitching, and what looks, to me, like vachetta ...... ???

Thanks again; I truly appreciate all of the information you've been so kind to share.Macy's Herald Square has the nomad hobo in butterscotch, saddle, racing green, black, saddle, oxblood and black cherry. They have the Ace satchel in navy, racing green and wine. If there is a Macy's by you check later this week to see if they have them in stock.
It looks a lot smaller than the classic pouch, doesn't it, with that skinny strap and the size of the hangtags? One of my favorite things about the classic pouch was the way the strap got wider in the middle. Here's a picture of the 1986 version for reference. It makes sense that they would include this style in a reissue to celebrate an anniversary since the ad says this is the original Coach bag.Ok, Got a little more. It's supposed to be a "remake" of the "9170 Classic Pouch".
What I really want to see is the inside color .... can't find it though.
Just saw the navy suede swagger and here it is next to the ace...
Oh my that navy SwaggerI think I may just have to have this one.
I had on my fall shopping list a burgundy or oxblood toned bag. Something semi-dressy but weekend appropriate. Not too detailed. I had remembered seeing a great bag in the fall preview: the ace, so I thought I'd check out the coach store.
I tried on the ace and loved it. But once I got all my stuff in, it felt a little too heavy after holding it for 15 minutes. This was a good test as I have at least a 15 minute walk on my commute, and also need to stand on the train often.
I didn't love the pink trimmed swagger. I've liked the swaggers, but haven't been pushed over to purchase, though it is very much a shape and style I tend to gravitate towards. I like the edgy details. The shadow is lovely but has too many pockets for me.
What I did not expect to love was the nomad. I am not really a hobo person, I like more structure and more carrying options than they typically provide. The nomad felt very well constructed and premium. Fell in love with the leather lining and super clean shape. I had a moment of indecision. I left with black cherry and returned it for oxblood as I felt it would work a little better for me. The nomad seems almost underpriced. It is quite difficult to find a larger leather lined bag for under $1500.
Today it makes its debut and fall shopping list is done.
