This was the "free bag" at conference and they really want the sm's to carry it so they can give them feedback etc. My sm's bag had softened up nicely and had a good slouch. The strap reminds me of the Zoe strap - thick and wide. The leather is burnished and distressed already so it has that vintage look going on - so pretty. It didn't feel too heavy to me (compared to the Zoe) and the magnet is pretty strong, so should be okay. Overall a very nice bag and totally up my alley that I ended up paying full price for it. I loved the green color too - reminds me the Kristin pleated satchel in forest green that coach did in 2011, only this leather seems more sturdy......I don't see this green often either...

Great description. I visited my store today and SM had her oxblood. I love the hardware on it as well. I couldn't decide what color...racing green, oxblood, (sorry cant remember the other color names right now) a dark navy, and a neutral. I ended up coming home with the racing green

Haha, that is what I ended up with too - at that time, oxblood was supposed to be an Oct rollout, but two days later that changed. I want to see if Macy's gets it before I bite the bullet. But the green is just as pretty! The oxblood also comes in the scout hobo and is just as gorgeous!

Great choice ;) They said that they're supposedly not making as many in the racing green, but I know how that goes. I didn't get exact numbers.

The website says the bag has leather lining. But I remember reading someone calling coach and asking only to be told that it was some sort of polyester microfiber lining. It certainly doesn't feel leather like to me!
