This bag is gorgeous - I would have bought it over the green. It is the color of dried blood almost so a brownish deep deep red - a color that is my weakness. Love it. So pretty. This was the "free bag" at conference and they really want the sm's to carry it so they can give them feedback etc. My sm's bag had softened up nicely and had a good slouch. The strap reminds me of the Zoe strap - thick and wide. The leather is burnished and distressed already so it has that vintage look going on - so pretty. It didn't feel too heavy to me (compared to the Zoe) and the magnet is pretty strong, so should be okay. Overall a very nice bag and totally up my alley that I ended up paying full price for it. I loved the green color too - reminds me the Kristin pleated satchel in forest green that coach did in 2011, only this leather seems more sturdy......I don't see this green often either...

Is this metallic too? I saw a metallic green Ace in a catalog the SA showed me for pre-ordering. I was thinking of getting it.
I'm not sure now because it appears smaller than I thought. We'll see.
I'm wondering about the silver charm seen on the Ace bags. Does it come with the bag? What is it? I'm having a hard time seeing the detail when I enlarge it.
It is! It's in the look book in my store too, but it had a little star beside it. My SA said they weren't making it. The indigo Ace also had a star beside it, and my SA said that's because it was pictured in pebbled leather, but they made it in glove tanned leather.
Wasn't a saddle color supposed to be coming out too? I thought someone mentioned that and that it may have a different style #.
I can't tell from the photo and the text in the catalog just says Ace in green
I guess I shouldn't be surprised Coach is taking time to picture a bag in a special promo insert that they won't even be selling.

Gosh that's pretty! Aside from the goes-with-everything black, I could see it with Fall colors like browns of all shades and deep green, possibly some dark maroons or navy. It's definitely a pop of color.
This will go with a lot of Fall and neutral colors. It would work with navy, grey, black, white, browns, beiges, darker reds, olive and forest greens, cobalt and darker blues, I'd even pair it with royal purple if the outfit was right.
