odds are the bag will be mass produced....and alot of people will try to get their hand on them (also the fact that damier is harder to tell wether its authentic or not) I hope it doesn't deter you from such a fabulous bag!!

Someone told me that with Damiers you can tell if it's fake or not by looking at the alignment of the squares, each square is matched on the opposing side perfectly. So that all the patterns on the leather are symmetrical left to right, front to back. Maybe that's a good way of telling if it's fake or real?

The Damier Speedys are already out in Sydney!!! I was in the store last thursday and saw it on the shop windows! It's $300 more than the Mono Speedy tho, but oh so sophisticated and classy! I love the Damier...*drool*

So damier speedy will be the same price like Damier alma?? I thought it's the same price like mono speedy.

naughtymanolo: I definatly think you should report the store, because they are probably fooling somebody, altough the SA was being honest with you. I feel sorry for all the people who pays $300 for a fake LV-item (and $300 is indeed a lot of money) that costs $600+ for the real thing.

The Damier Speedy IS the same price as the mono Speedy.

I was in Sak's on Friday (but will be getting my Damier Speedy from LV). The SA there quoted a price for the Damier Speedy in the 700s. I told her I believed that to be a mistake and suggested she call LV's customer service line. She did so while I was standing there and LV confirmed that the price of the Damier Speedy will be the same as the mono Speedy. From what I could deduce at Sak's...the SA was completely oblivious to the fact that it will now be part of the regular collection and was quoting special order prices.

I got MUCH better service at LV. MUCH better! :blink:

Thanks, that what I thought too, I can't wait !!!Most SA I talked to always tell me they haven't set up the price yet.
