I am sad there are no picsQuick update.
Went to see the stone yesterday. It was white. Incredibly sparkly white.
It had a tiny bit of color when I held it over my finger using the tweezer holders (what is that called???) but when we put it on a piece of white paper, it was colorless. So when my jeweler said the crisscut faces two grades up, he was right.
We're going back to see it on Saturday and I think it will be mine
Thanks for all the feedback on an H stone everyone
LOVE this idea. LOVE.
I think you could do either one, as long as the pave is delicate.Exactly!
btw A - I just did a search for the pics of your ring. Spectacular. Just enough pave without competing with that killer solitaire stone. Love it![]()

A's setting is gorgeous but with an emerald cut (especially THAT cut), plain would be stunning, too.
Can't wait to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds simply gorgeous! The pave I was thinking about is a 3 row micropave. Very narrow band. But the more I think about it (meaning obsess) I am 99% sure I'm going with the plain platinum band.
