I keep thinking about this bag and I blame/credit @kimmiesue's first post about it.

I appreciate both of your reviews. The size seems perfect and I love the zipper.

The two questions I have left are:

(1) Are you concerned about corner wear at all? The main challenge I had with my Graceful (just loved that bag, but had to let it go to fund another bag) was the corner wear.

(2) Do you find the strap to be stiff? I ask this question because I prefer softer, more supple straps. For example, I find the strap that comes with a Speedy B nearly unusable because it's so stiff. How is this strap?

I know right!! @kimmiesue hooked me too. I loved the look but her review and pics sealed the deal for me 😂. I put this bag in my cart 10 times before I saw she had gotten one and loved it. She definitely helped me with my purchase of it. I’ve been annoyed with my graceful far too long!
The zipper is a game changer and the details are so fun!
In regards to your questions I’ll try to answer best I can.
1- this bag is more narrow than the graceful and though I have never had a problem with corner wear on my graceful I’m sure over years of use it would occur. My graceful still looks pristine and I use it regularly. This bag is taller than the graceful but a thousand times more slouchy.
I will add like Kimmie said the strap on men’s bags are heavier with larger hardware than a woman’s bag. If you are used to that you will be fine with it. I have a bunch of extra straps for another men’s bag and found I loved a 14”-16” strap. But like Kimmie said as well the original strap is very accommodating and adjustable. I wouldn’t have a problem using the original strap at all. It’s very sturdy.

2- the strap is stiff enough. I think like any new strap they need to be worked. I buy secondary straps that are softer leather and love them. I get them off amazon and they have a color called honey brown that matches these darker vachetta bags perfectly 😊

The canvas is so soft and unlike my speedy or graceful even.
I don’t buy a lot of monogram canvas generally.

@kimmiesue got me too! I have this bag coming today. I have been searching for a zipper hobo forever now, and this one looks perfect. I'm glad you compared the size with your Graceful though. I probably would have been shocked as well if you hadn't prepared me. I love, love the slouch! Like you said, the details are adorable. Are those little pearls? and that zipper pull! Very excited to get mine today. Thank you for the wonderful pictures!

You are so going to love this bag!! You and I have similar tastes and styles in our bags and this is one I really think you and I will enjoy
Since we both love big bags this one is literally perfection. It’s lightweight and has so much room. The slouch is honestly so amazing!! The zipper with that cute pull!! The pearls!!! The cool luggage tag!!
A thousand times better than the graceful and a better fit than the slouchy which I didn’t like when I tried on in store.
When you take it out of the box don’t be alarmed 😂. My initial response was “ DANG this thing is huge!” But it hangs much smaller and since you and I both carry speedy 40’s no problem, this is easy 🤣

And thanks for the info on the strap situation. I don't mind heavy bags -- I like big bags, and that comes with the territory. I also love good quality, substantial hardware -- so again, that seems like another pro for this bag. What I don't love are very stiff straps, unforgiving straps, so thanks for weighing in on that.

Decisions, decisions . . . because Murakami drop 2 is also coming. 🙃 But this one really looks like a keeper!

Absolutely love the slouch on the vagabond hobo!!! I was not expecting to love it but it is incredibly spacious and hangs so well when on my shoulder. I admit I was shocked by the size when I pulled it out of the box 😂. The canvas is super soft. The zipper pull charm, the pearl detailing on the logo piece and the luggage tag that is stamped is so fun!
@kimmiesue you were so right it’s a keeper!
Similar in size to the graceful mm but taller and has a zipper.
I did the same as you Kimmie and put a shorter strap and it is instantly loved. Excellent purchase and so excited to have it in my collection ❤️

Didn't mean to pick these up at all but I couldn't resist this yummy dark chocolate color. Trying to get it but the pictures do it no justice. I've never cared for the Felice Pochette but the color is divine.

As for the mini keepall, I look forward to attaching it to my keys and/or dog leash. It's so adorable 😍

This this beauty came today! The speedy 30 soft boho❤️ I was super nervous because the box it came in was incredibly beat up and the LV box was fairly damaged, but the bag was unharmed❤️

All your murakami pieces are gorgeous. The nanos are sooo cute. If you had to choose only one is it white or black?

The otg and petite sac plat watercolour look amazing. It’s so well made. Especially that watercolour psp, it’s stunning. Your friend is really talented and skilful to create the pieces identical.

Next to last for me arrived today, before going back to the LV ban island 😅
I love dark brown and blue so I had to grab a piece from the chocolate line.
It’s absolutely so rich and dark. The leather isn’t as thick as my carryalls in empriente. The lining is a gorgeous deep brown. No interior pockets, but it does have a pouch.
I have never tried the loop hobo so we are giving it a shot. I love the medium size and the really narrow profile. I find empriente leather can be stiff for awhile so I was worried it would be too stiff for this shape. I also have heard of problems with the monogram canvas loop so hopefully that won’t be an issue with the empriente one. Fingers crossed 🤞.

In case anyone was looking at the chocolate, it’s a beautiful shade of brown 🤎🤎🤎
