The steamer shape has been around for ages since, well, the days of steam travel. The Kelly's predecessor the Haut au Courroies was designed to carry military boots in 1892 before it gave birth to the Birkin in the 80's. This is why I hesitate to compare bags to the Birkin because the HAC wasn't strictly an original design during those steamer travel days (even when air travel was just taking off, pun unintended).
Seems more like a "Petite" Twist.

I think they're slightly taller (at least, the one on the left is)? I'm not sure. Very similar size in hand from what I've seen.

I'm trying to convert some other videos but it's quite a bit more work than I anticipated (I haven't actually slept, lol). All GIFs were sourced from videos belonging to citabellamalaysia IG (a Malaysian magazine).

No matter how much I am obsessed and love the Steamer bags in general, but these 2 look a bit too busy for my taste
It looks big because of the trim. It's the same size as all other Petite Malles. I counted the flower rows.
I just dream of a Petite Malle XL.
