Oh wow you are so tall! I am jealous! I didn't compare strap length b/c I knew I didn't like the regular size PM straight out of the box. The chain strap on the mini is long enough for me to wear crossbody - I am 5'9" but also super petite so it may fall lower than on others - and it's also a nice, heavy chain. I would guess they are similar, but better to ask an SA for accuracy

These are pics my SA sent, maybe this helps.

Thank you, this really helps, I'm going to try to order one of them.

Thanks for all the comparisons pictures. It's amazing how you are able to purchase all these pieces and choose comfortably whereas in the UK we are only allowed 3 leather goods per 6 months and can't even buy two metis in one go.
That's crazy! Is this just for LV or other brands too? That most certainly would have kept more $$ in my bank account! I know here, for Chanel boutiques only (not dept stores selling Chanel) the limit is supposed to be no more than 2 bags a month/ 12 per year. But if you have spouses, etc or manager approval, that's not hard to get around. I am unaware of any such limitations for LV or Dior, or even Chanel from dept stores?

LV implemented this quota system in Europe and the UK because
there was just too much demand because of the lower prices compared to the rest of the world, and to deter resellers.

I'm not sure it's a success. Often, resellers are groups, or aat least have a network of buyers to circumvent the quota. I know Hermes will limit quotas for a family (if I'm not mistaken, say you and your spouse can only buy the number of B's and K's in the quota as a couple, not as individuals).

The theory makes sense, and I am sure that would make everyone think VERY carefully about purchases! I wonder if LV is going to raise prices like Chanel has done? At this point, is it just LV that has this quota?

LV has the usual price increases just as Chanel does but Chanel's price harmonisation eases the pressure off the European market somewhat. Still, savings on VAT is still savings, even with price harmonisation, makes Europe very attractive for buyers overseas.

I think Chanel has a quota system. Not sure about Dior.

Thank you for detailing and clarifying - I think it's all rather interesting despite it being somewhat constricting. I will be in northern Europe in a few weeks (Denmark, Norway, Sweden) but those are not Euro. From everything I've heard, it's pretty expensive up there, maybe even more than USD equiv?

Dior has no quota

It's LV in UK that's very strict now

Yes, it is more expensive up there, most of the times it is not rewarding to purchase there even with vat refund.

I purchased 5 bags in two months at LV  and there was no such thing as a quota, maybe it depends on your SA knowing you are not a reseller?

Does anyone know the price for the two pices of the Brogue-Collection?
- Twist Wallet M62872
- Mini Pochette Metis (in the same style like the Twist Wallet above)
When are these beauties available in Europe??

THX!!!!!!

I was told by my SA sometime in mid-August....

I wonder why Europe gets it later than US?

Anyway, i got a call a few days ago that the brouge wouldn't be sold in NL boutiques but for order only, and mine would arrive on 14 August...so that's about 3.5 weeks waiting time

I believe the brouge Metis is the regular sized? The product code is on my pic below

It's €1880 (initially was quoted €1700)

My SA in Milan actually told me that the quota applies to foreigners not to citizens. If one is a regular customer they will sell you what you want.
