Hi, I wanted to post an in depth review anyways, because my journey (Asian, 40yro female, living in Germany) was riddled with so so many questions. First things first: I was looking for DES and addressing my heavily hooded upper eyelids. Which ever procedure would prove most effective/ least downtime. Some bg on my research: I don’t speak Korean (but do speak Mandarin & English). Spent about a year in forums, on PS clinic websites, UNNI annd consulting with 5 german PSs before I decided on going to SK. After arrival, I consulted with 6 clinics from small to mid size and settled for Thank You PS. I decided against large PS clinic due to some concern over shadow doctors, “factory style” procedures and based on the fact that I wanted a more personal consultation and experience. Dr. Kim was my consulting surgeon for DES and immediately addressed my concerns based on the source problem. Turns out, my eyebrows were too low (due to aging). Something I had not even considered at that point. He recommended DES + endocrine forehead lift by Dr. Choi. It took me a few days to reassess but I finally decided to go with his recommendation. The reason for deciding on THank You were the following: only Dr Kim and another surgeon at a different clinic addressed the forehead and eyebrow sagging as the source of my concern. “If you only do DES, it won’t solve the excess sagging skin problem”. Dr. Kim also speaks fluent English and was very patient during the consultation. Overall, I felt he understood and interpreted my concerns into what seemed the most promising procedure to get the results I wanted. I ended up with Non incisional DES and Endotine forehead (brow) lift and am quite happy with the results so far.
It was all done in April 24, but ao far, healing has been smooth and without complications. Although Dr. Choi convey all the basic information during our endo consultation, I would have liked to receive some more information abt the recovery post operation results. There were visible “horns” after the operation which scared the living hell out of me. But those were due to swelling, it would have been nice to have been more emotionally prepared for this. Their English consultant, Chloe, was really great support during the whole process. She also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin but is mostly in charge of all English queries. She never lost her temper or patience during all my rounds of questioning pre and post OP.
