hey can you dm me? im interested in them!Went to this clinic recently and am super grateful to them since they worked with on my pricing!
which other clinic did you go to for your eyes?Hello, I recently went to a consultation with Dr Kim at Thank You. I agree that he speaks great English so no need for a translator for that specific part but you might want one when talking to the other clinic staff. Dr Kim is professional and positive and seems to have a lot of experience with good results.
*Edit* I decided to go with a different clinic because I want to do incisional and Dr Kim said he would do non-incisional on me.
Do you mind which clinic and surgeon you went to instead? I have consultation with Dr Kim next month and I want to do incisional so if he's unwilling to do that, it'll be a dealbreaker for me.Hello, I recently went to a consultation with Dr Kim at Thank You. They only have one English consultant right now and she also works with local patients. And they have been receiving more inquiries since a few of us who went there this year have been happy with our experience haha. She will get back to you but it will take some time![]()

May I ask which doctor did your revision at Inique? was it Dr. Yang?I felt like the Dr didn’t give me the most effective lifting solution for my face. My main areas of concern were jowling around the corners of my mouth and nasiolabial folds. Even though the sagging wasn’t that prominent in both areas, I still wanted something done to improve the area and prevent further sagging as much as possible.
Anyway he suggested a mid-face lift and Ulthera on the bottom cheeks to slim that area out. I didn’t really like that suggestion because of the risks associated with the procedures. With the mid-face lift, the incision is usually done along the bottom lash line so there’s not only a risk of visible scarring but over time you can develop scleral show at the bottom of your eyes.
Then when I expressed concerns about Ulthera since it reportedly causes sagging (if you look up “Ulthera results” online, the first search result that comes before that is “Ulthera ruined my face” so you’ll see what I mean), the Dr gave this incredulous laugh/scoff and said, “Well if it’s so bad then why is it used by thousands of people all across the world today?”
I mean, just because it’s in frequent use doesn’t mitigate the risks of getting bad results. Plus I didn’t really appreciate his attitude. I acknowledge I might’ve wasted a highly skilled surgeon’s time by asking a really dumb question, but that doesn’t mean I deserved a dumbed down response. If he had given me some sort of medical explanation then maybe I would’ve reconsidered his suggestions. But he didn’t, and I thought to myself if this is his approach now then how will it be when I’ll have a billion more “dumb questions” during my post op recovery.
The attention to detail and the overall vibe wasn’t there for me to get my lifting done at Thank You. It’s a shame because I really would’ve loved to have my revision DES and nose done by Dr Kim. But I’m super satisfied with the results I got from Inique instead so no regrets.
Really appreciate the thought process as well, I feel weird when doc gave me the dumbed down response but couldn't figure out what it is, now I know!I felt like the Dr didn’t give me the most effective lifting solution for my face. Hi, I wanted to post an in depth review anyways, because my journey (Asian, 40yro female, living in Germany) was riddled with so so many questions. First things first: I was looking for DES and addressing my heavily hooded upper eyelids. Which ever procedure would prove most effective/ least downtime. Some bg on my research: I don’t speak Korean (but do speak Mandarin & English). Spent about a year in forums, on PS clinic websites, UNNI annd consulting with 5 german PSs before I decided on going to SK. After arrival, I consulted with 6 clinics from small to mid size and settled for Thank You PS. I decided against large PS clinic due to some concern over shadow doctors, “factory style” procedures and based on the fact that I wanted a more personal consultation and experience. Dr. Kim was my consulting surgeon for DES and immediately addressed my concerns based on the source problem. Turns out, my eyebrows were too low (due to aging). Something I had not even considered at that point. He recommended DES + endocrine forehead lift by Dr. Choi. It took me a few days to reassess but I finally decided to go with his recommendation. The reason for deciding on THank You were the following: only Dr Kim and another surgeon at a different clinic addressed the forehead and eyebrow sagging as the source of my concern. “If you only do DES, it won’t solve the excess sagging skin problem”. Dr. Kim also speaks fluent English and was very patient during the consultation. Overall, I felt he understood and interpreted my concerns into what seemed the most promising procedure to get the results I wanted. I ended up with Non incisional DES and Endotine forehead (brow) lift and am quite happy with the results so far.I’m looking into DES with Dr. Hyeongseok Kim but would love to hear about someone’s personal experience with Thank You for any surgery. TIA!
