Evercolor Leather

I have read all the pages in this thread. I’m thinking of getting a preloved k28 in ever colour leather.

Likely a c or y stamp. Can I know how are all your bags doing now? Does it slouch more than swift or clemence?

Same here! I found a Gris Asphalt GHW in evercolor, Stamp C. Lovely colour! But the only thing holding me back is the leather as I wasnt sure if it will hold its shape when it ages. Anyone can advise on this?

Mine doesn’t slouch but it has got scuffed at the edges. I have a Bolide 25 so a smaller bag.

How do you like Evercolor? Easy or tough to use and keep

I have two Constance 24s — one in violet ostrich and the other in lime evercolor leather. And a Constance slim wallet in evercolor vert vertigo. I couldn’t love them more. And I hope to get one or two more C24s over time. The H clasp is such a key part of the bag in my opinion. It is one of the elements of the complex craftsmanship of the bag that makes it utterly iconic. For me, the bag is easy to use and carry (double strapped on the shoulder, in hand or on forearm, single strapped on the shoulder or crossbody) — and because I keep my nails short, the opening/closing of the bag is easy. I find my beloved Kelly 28 and Kelly 35 harder to close because of the size/weight of the bags when there’s stuff in it. For my Kelly 35, I have to lift my leg to create a “table” on which to rest the bag in order to close it. Or use both hands to pull the flap over the clasp (still adore those Kellys) and close. Nevertheless, I accept the idiosyncrasies of all of these bags. That’s what makes them special and a pleasure to use. ♥️

My experience with my blue Kelly 28 in evercolor: the leather is soft and pleasant to the touch. If you carry a little in the bag, I find it difficult to close because the leather is very soft. I hope you know what I mean sorry for my bad English.

I love my evercolor, I actually wish they did the birkin in this leather. But I prefer smoother leathers, and this has a bit of grain but is very small. I don’t use it in the rain but maybe is just me being a bit afraid as the colour is lighter but apart from that, is great.

The evercolor is gorgeous. The leather is somehow simultaneously soft and firm😂 — and the lime color is brilliant.
