I was researching for eva with date code 2016 (all has MB as its place of manufacture) and i came across this threadWhy would you buy it if you had one already?I would have just told the SA you wanted DE and left it for someone else, as it would probably sell quickly. Your current eva looks nice. I would return the new one. You will take a loss on your old eva, thus making this new eva even more expensive.
No offense, but it really doesn't make much sense to me. I know we are enablers, but your current bag is not damaged, so you don't "need" a new one.
I know that this is old but i with the price of eva skyrocketed, i would hope that the thread author could have sold hers on a later date / year and she would have profit from it, given the good condition of her old eva
I collected this piece by buying preloved pieces and now with its current price (and the fact that it's discontinued), I can profit from it. I read that Eva is one of the most coveted Louis Vuitton vintage/discountinued bag because of its elegance and how it can match any OOTD. Its also light and doesn't hurt my back or shoulders.
So some folks probably have also bought same prints for the purpose of reselling and profiting from it
