I really don’t believe that SA. The PA mono is like one of the most sought after piece.Thanks lovely I purchased this morningit was out of stock when I woke up and came back in. I was debating the 19 and 26 I would love both lol but thought 19 was a better starting one just before I will use it more
on another note I spoke to a SA advisor at a store this morning and he said he thinks the pa mono is being discontinued rather than just so rarely produced which is literally devastating to hear if it’s trueI feel only you lovely people would understand
Or maybe it’s a strategy to re release it in a few months but they will add an extra vachette tab on the front like the one on the MPA to justify that they’ll ask double the price! I see them coming. Lol
Their prices are more and more crazy. The problem is as long as we keep buying even though we complain about the quality they will continue and will not care unfortunately.
I will keep buying my vintage Louis bags. Those are the best in my humble opinion. I don’t need their bad quality bags at crazy price (that’s just me and I am not judging people who buy. To each their own
) and I can’t afford it so.

Highly unlikely the PA mono is being discontinued. There was a similar rumour about the mini pochette mono not so long ago.
The PA is part of the permanent collection has been for years and is one of LV's bestsellers. It would be ludicrous to discontinue an item that sells so easily and never stays in stock due to demand. They've also just had two price increases in the last few months and it still sells out.
oh what? i called CS maybe 3-4 weeks ago to ask about it and the lady who was answering my questions said she was sure they’re still making it! she did tell me to stalk the website.. i have the utmost respect for this! i have been looking at the pre-loved market for vintage pieces too even the PA.. however, specifically for the PA i wouldn’t exactly pay over retail. the prices for this piece are actually crazy! as for other pieces i’m sure they’re well worth it! i’m not familiar with the quality from back then vs now. it does make me feel like i’ve been missing out! Sure I will show you some of my vintage pieces and some of my old pieces (not vintage because not over 20 years old) I paid all these bags and slg 550€ maximum and under.
My collection is not huge but please note that some TLC is scheduled for all of them during my weeks off mid August so they are looking tired at this moment lol

And yes indeed I wanted to buy the PA mono preloved and vintage if possible and yes sometimes (most of the time!) they are over retail but I’ve seen some under retail in great condition but with taxes in my country (35%) then it would be way over retail which like you I refuse to pay if the Piece is still available in the boutique
But I travel to Japan for work so usually I buy when I go there and pay zero tax lol then it’s totally worth it
This year my trip to Japan was cancelled obviously and I am watching so many pieces from japan

I agree with bigverne28 and Helllooo, that these are probably just rumors and cannot image that PA mono would be discontinued. I think this will never come true. I also think that this is part of their marketing strategy to support rumors and not to accounce anything officially, such that customers are advised to buy now and not wait until tomorrow. And tomorrow there will be new items which customers will buy...
