Hi everyone! Been away here for a while, just been so busy with work.. but need to share this! Went to pick up my Carryall MM. wasn’t sure if I’m going to love it, actually thought I won’t even take it home. But I actually think this could really work! I have Neverfull GM for travel, but I think this would be better option for that. Lightweight and adjustable strap, really spacious!

Congrats on your new bag! And good to see you around again happy the Carry all did work out in the end and came home with you! Aren’t you afraid of the vachetta to use as a travel bag? I’m super indecisive about choosing a bag with vachetta as a travel bag

Sorry, off topic guys, but I wanted to thank @DrTootr for the advice on the Apple AirTags . My Mum was in New York for a wedding, so I got her to stock on some Apple products, including these little gems, given prices are cheaper there. Here are 2 out of the 4 tags and the cases are from Amazon (£7 for 4). Disappointed I couldn't get the tags engraved because it's not done in store and takes 2 weeks. I had never thought to buy a device to track my luggage, as I haven't experienced issues with lost luggage before. The UK airports are currently in meltdown so if my bags ends up in the luggage graveyard at least I know where to find it .

Thats pretty cool!! I also read people use it on the collar of their dog in case they run away, I like that idea. Let us know how traveling went with the air tags!

Help, I’m soooo indecisive I get annoyed by myself I’m searching for the perfect travel bag, which will be mainly used on the plane. I have a trolley carry on so this bag has so be my personal item and wil carry passport, small needs and my other bags I take with me. I prefer it to be carefree aka vachetta free and at least a size Speedy 30 and I don’t like DE

But there are limited options at LV I could go for a regular mono Speedy with vachetta which is timeless but also not carefree. Or the world tour version but I just don’t love the black leather with the mono canvas so not sure I want to pay that price. I could go for a Eclipse Keepall 45 which is perfectly care free but it’s also way too big for my needs.

Now I also have the option to buy the Escale Speedy 30 in the pastel colors for a reasonable price, this is a carefree bag (I’m not worried about color transfer) but obvious expensive for a bag I have a very specific use for and will only be used a few times a year. I think the colors are super lovely and would suit great in my colorful collection.

What would you dooo? Anyone experience traveling with a vachetta bag? How does it hold up?

I love the strap! It’s really wide, comfortable to carry! And treated vachetta makes it even better. The one thing I’m not in love are those strings, but I’m sure I will get used to them. With the corners, I guess only time will tell. I was also really worried about my bumbag when I bought it, because I had seen some cracking issues with them. But I haven’t had any problems with it so far. So not too worried about the corners at the moment.
Overall, a bit more carefree bag to use instead of Noe. This one might just come with me for my flight to Maldives soon

I love our Airtags also ! We have 4 of them and its veryyyyy helpful since both me and my husband travels alot …

I feel you girl but I might be bias here since I love Speedy .. You can always wrap the handle with some twilly’s so you wont be worried about it I do that when I use my Speedy for travelling or any time .. Speedy 30 can fits alot and perfect size also foe under the seat

I have a Keepall 45 Mon Monogram and like to use it for my electronics when I travel. There is a small water stain on the vachetta, but I don't mind. I would put more emphasis on the size and what should fit inside. For my last flight I wanted to carry no bags in the Keepall but they didn't fit well, I had to squeeze them a lot. That's why I took the Neverfull Gm, all the bags fit in there. I have the Escale pastel Speedy and almost never use it, only on vacation when I want a closed bag in town. I can't imagine that your other bags fit well in there, I find the opening a bit narrow. But she is beautiful.

Thanks for your input dear! I actually already looked up some cheap twilly on Shein and thought about using a fabric strap instead of the vachetta one if I expect to travel anywhere rainy. Sometimes on the airport I see girls with these worn out Speedy’s with dark brown vachetta and I get scared. I don’t want my bags to end up like that but also don’t want to baby them during travel

Thank you for thinking along! I’m a real tiny bag lady, in my Speedy 25 I could get in 2 other bags, a whole Kirigami set and sunglasses in case and some small stuff like keys. I’m still amazed myself but that’s why I think a 30 would be perfect and a 45 too big. I’m afraid I would use a Speedy 30 also only on holiday because going anywhere else I would take a tiny bag. So yeah not sure to spent so much money on a pre loved bag I would use so little. I’m just a sucker for limited editions, ugh

I’m usually really easy in making decisions for myself what to buy and what not. But this got me buggin for a while now

Hahahaha I have like 20 twilly and counting from Shein They have so many cute ones !Also the straps ! I only use unbranded fabric strap when I use them for travelling ( also from Shein) once the vachetta is tanned , just remember to clean and conditioned them so it didnt get so dark and dirty
