Long story!
I was planning to get the nano speedy and nano noe, but with the light (though beautiful) colors available in the USA, I know it will not be carefree for me. I seem to be challenged with color transfer since I mostly wear dark colors. I am sad to miss out on this collection, but I was finally able to add an older piece that I have been trying to get for years (I purchased it 2x before from LV and then 24S and it was lost in shipping!), so that is my consolation prize! I had just had a baby when this was coming out originally, so was not following. Then months later, I saw it and fell in love, but of course sold out. Miraculously, I found the last one in the world available in Japan. I had the name saved to my IG feed, so it popped up from a PS in Japan showing items available in the boutique and “my bag” just happened to be in the background. I sent a message and the PS was able to buy it for me! I was so thrilled, but then devastated when I was traveling and it was stolen from my luggage later that year. The airline offered to compensate me $50! Miracle number 2: I had not heard of 24S at that time, but I was so obsessed with this bag that I had google alerts set for the name. It came up on 24S at least a year after the release and I was so excited and amazed! It was also so cheap ($~$2800)!! I ordered it immediately and waited…and waited. It was just sitting in customs for over 2 weeks. I am not a nervous/pushy customer, but I finally reached out to see what the status was and it was somehow lost in customs!! I received a refund from 24S after I submitted an affidavit stating that it was never received, but I was devastated to lose my last chance at it. Finally, my birthday came and I was debating if I should use a PS to get a darker color from Stardust from the China exclusives and this bag popped up, brand new from a shop I have purchased from before. I finally have it and now I can be more content with not getting one of these special pieces from Stardust.
Yesterday we went to IKEA to finally buy a new storage solution for my bags! I still wanted to store my bags in my closet because it’s important to me to get them easily out of sight so I came up with this solution. It’s the Kallax closet with some of the inserts. I’m so happy with the result and have just been sitting in front of my closet this afternoon
maybe speedy 30/35? I love how your collection is not all mono or DE etc… but has pops of colour which is so pretty!!
