Hello my friend! :flowers: Your advice and thoughts are never too late! I really appreciate it and it definitely reaffirms what I’m thinking as well ;)It’s always so lovely to get great and honest opinions here on tpf especially on our awesome thread. Everyone is the best.

You mention great points abt fashion and also outgrowing bags. All so true. And I’m also thinking I may regret it too if I don’t at least get it and see how it looks and feels in person right? Pics can only show so much but when you see it in person you know straight away if it’s love or not. Well at least for me I know. If I can get it I will buy and then try it and see how it suits me and my lifestyle. It’s also hard as it’s not available at the store so I cant really try it on so have to buy blindly hehehe
Anyway, thanks for you comments. I am still waiting to see if my CS can source me one. So we’ll see how it goes and if it’s meant to be.
You will definitely know once you see it in person :) it’s so super annoying that we have to buy blind all the time now, given how expensive the bags are (and also kind of takes away the enjoyment of buying luxury as you can’t try it on in store, take your time making a decision rather than feeling pressured) but I hope you get the bag to at least see in person and can decide that way :)

Had a fun unexpected window shop- free Loewe magazine with STICKERS! Also heard Stardust release here is the 17th, though some are saying 2 days away (today's the 14th here).

It was unusually rainfree so Keepall XS came out for the ride :yahoo::loveeyes:

Also spotted these gorgeous Gucci x Adidas trainers. I love the soft plush material, it didn't feel like velvet but maybe it is? Saw Alexa Chung post a pic wearing these on Insta

i got an email from Gucci about those trainers. They are so pretty. Are you going to get them?

A month is a good idea if you can get the time, or if just two weeks you could start with maybe 1-2 cities if you want it to be leisurely, eg. Sydney Melbourne or Brisbane as the main base, those tend to have the most international flights especially Sydney. Happy to give you all some tips on DM/IG if you like. Or if possible for a longer stay maybe you can work remotely while travelling? it is a long flight, I would try to break it up by stopping over a couple of days in Asia or Dubai or somewhere if you could do that. Just have to check all the covid entry rules these days.
Ah all this talk of Oz makes me miss home (NZ) :( hope to make it over next year to my beautiful Aotearoa

Speaking of working remotely, I thought I read recently that Adelaide in Oz was offering to pay for peoples’ flights there (from Europe, or maybe just the UK) for those going on work visas, to aid travel after Covid

Someone found this in the RTW section of the website. I like the white canvas so much without that extra pocket  Maybe not a bad idea to scroll the RTW once in a while to spot unreleased bags:giggle:

This month I am traveling to Istanbul. I plan to buy a new LV bag. What are the customs rules? Will I have to pay customs duties because Turkey is not in the EU?

Not sure about the rules of every country but in the Netherlands you have to pay custom duties for items over €430. You can ofcourse leave the box behind and act like it's a bag you already had but if customs asks questions you have to show them the receipt and they will figure it out anyway. Besides all of this I heard designer brand got up in price in Turkey because of the unstable valuta and it's not worth it anymore to buy there. Some paid more in Turkey then they would in EU. But it's all info I read in FB groups and not directly my own experience, good luck and have fun in Turkey!

Thank you so much!
I am afraid that the rules are the same or similar in all EU countries.

But IF I find the bag I want and if it is the same price as in the EU, I will buy it no matter what. I will throw the box and bag in the trash  or send it by mail to my homeaddress. :-s
