Personally , its not my style at all. Love the idea that they also want to play catch up with others ( cough, YSL puffer , cough , cough ) So,good for them. If the leather is as delicate and soft as the Puffer, then its not for the daily use which judging by the strap, its supposed to be casual worry free use.
I think that it would be fine to be stored outside. I watch a lot of YouTubers and their bags are always stored behind them on shelves. You just have to make sure that you rotate using them or they might get dusty. Also, make sure that it's not in direct sunlight.Thanks allI keep mine in dust bags too but was thinking of displaying in their closet in my dressing room as it will make me more happy and could reach for some less used handbags more often. I was just wondering if it is not bad for handbags to be stored outside.
It's not my vibe. I think the YSL puffer is much better looking.
I never know if this is for show or they really store them like this permanently. Unless you have a dressing room or walk in closet with no sunlight, I’d be worried about fading.
I had been holding out too and almost went with the Empreinte one, or the mono my heritage one so I could get fuchsia interior to match my Felicie and card holder but the DG caught my attention and had more colour options that I liked vs the mono. The stripes are Raisin & Teal and the interior is Raisin. I had been considering the violet colour but it didn’t look purple enough for me and I hadn’t been able to see it in real life before ordering online
the UV is much too much here in Hawaii, so everything has to be kept in the dark! We have UV blocking film on all the windows to keep the furnishings from fading!

Depending on climate I'm always thinking about humidity, too. I do wish I'd kept more of those throwaway silica beads that often come with bags and shoes.
I buy Daiso dehumidifier charcoal bead boxes to store in my cupboards and they do help. Other brands and possibly your local supermarkets, 2 dollar stores, hardware and homeware stores may sell them too.
Literally been airing and sunning one of my bags the past few days. The lambskin surprisingly didn't crack, it is a bit drier but I am actually happy with it. Only had maybe an hour or two of direct sunlight for five days. I stuck my speaker in it to keep the compartments exposed to the sun and fresh air.
It's also why I will never own a Coussin, especially paying like a quarter of the price for this! Even cheaper on the resale market right now!

It’s very purple IRL! I’ll try and get a better picture of the colour when I get home from work.
I have silica gel packets in all my pieces. I bought a pack of 100 on Amazon last year. I’ve also accumulated a load from the free covid test kits
