I can make Takoyaki! I bought an electric machine from a local Asian market and buy the flour and octopus there too usually. I haven’t made it for a while…..hmmm maybe this weekend!

i have been to Busan and it was so interesting. I have light hair and people followed me around in stores to touch it, :wtf: one sales lady at least asked first … it was a little weird:hrmm: they consider it good luck . I bought so much Korean skin care!
Can I come to u this weekend then   :biggrin: I need to google the machine now

@brnicutie Hahahaha so funny , same as when my hubbie went to my homecountry. He is Scandinavian 100% so everybody also wants to touch him and take a picture with him like he some movie star or something:facepalm::facepalm:

im not sure i said when i was payng that ill need it sent to my home and she said yeah no problem we can arrange that once it arrives in tore  the SA text me last friday saying it had arrived and nothing since, i replied to her text that friday, sent a reminder monday and one today
This is very frustrating. Have you tried calling CS?

There is a technique, basically you drop in batter, add the tako, add a little more batter if necessary , then use wooden skewers to keep rolling them over until they are brown and crispy. The machine has little round holes, it makes maybe 18? I will try to google it for you.

Scandinavian, he is super blond? lol I felt very self conscious after a while as people were staring at me at the mall and some tried to get close yet be inconspicuous doing so, and then reach out and pet my hair :hrmm: as I turned. I had a coworker once who had really long blond hair and when she went to Seoul they fawned over her:smile: so funny

@deanomatter Here is a similar one to mine, off the Amazon US site

https://www.amazon.com/YAMAZEN-tako...ocphy=9032800&hvtargid=pla-395592226066&psc=1

This is the flour I use. I buy pre cooked tako and slice it up. Then you need your condiments, (sauce you can make yourself) bonito flakes etc. I warn you you will smell like takoyaki after you make them, like making pancakes and after you notice your hair smells like them?

Love this!! No doubt they were delicious making them at home!

Given we're a bag thread, I can also say quite confidently that you might want to put your LVs and other luxe items in a separate room and close the door... hahahha I am scarred from bringing my Antigona to a teppanyaki one time, took 6 months to air the scent out in our humid season

I shall definitely keep that in mind! Maybe keep a charcoal filter handy in case I go to a stinky restaurant! I don’t usually like restaurants where you cook your own food, I always think I am going out to dinner to avoid cooking!

I forgot about the tempura crunchies, those go in too. This site gives you a recipe and run down how to make them.

I shall post a picture of my newest acquisition tomorrow, I forgot to do so this week!
