Would you ever repurchase a bag or am I insane?

I completely understand that! I recently repurchased a bag that I had sold a couple of months earlier because I thought I would not wear it anymore, then I missed it terribly (it was my first LV bag ever). Are you gonna keep the older one? It‘s always good to have a back up:biggrin:

Nope I sold it to repurchase the new one. I originally thought I’d keep it as my use and abuse bag in a worry free way but realistically it’s still LV and I’d still be paranoid that something was going to happen to it so I let it go and I think it was the right decision for me.

I see, makes sense. I wish I still had the older bag, so many memories contained in it! Does the new version give you the same amount of joy?

I’m not quite sure yet. My eyes lit up when saw it in the store, all shiny and new! So I hope I will love it just as much as my old one. But unfortunately, with all these storms I haven’t been able to use it yet as it hasn’t stopped raining in days and with vachetta that brand new I wouldn’t dare take it out in the rain!!

I even bragged to my friends about it, but the quality was soooo ****ty! Maybe I can find the picture again :lol:

I’ve never sprayed any of my bags either and I’m happy about every opinion or experience :)
Basically, I don’t like the idea of touching a chemical substance when touching my bag. But I’m not sure about the Buci because it has very soft leather in between that looks very susceptible to dirt and colour transfer.

I often think they don’t know, only because they don’t know the brand that well, so perhaps their boyfriends bought it at the swap meet and they don’t realize he duped them, so they wear it proudly (especially the very good fakes). or the boyfriend who buys one from a friend of a friend for a deal, who has a made up story about his gal needing to sell her bag for some urgent expense that came up - he thinks he is doing his sweetheart a favor and saving money to boot. Naïve. they walk proudly into an LV store having no idea the bag they have isn’t real.

Kinda like the fiancé who buys a really nice CZ in this kind of deal and the gal doesn’t know. ( nothing wrong with CZ jewelry unless someone is trying to pass it along / sell to you as as real diamonds.) then you go to upgrade it at the jewelry store and find out you can’t.
