Sorry ladies off topic , what do use in europe for protecting the vachetta? I saw youtube videos where they treat it with apple brand garde stain and rain repellent, but this is not available here. Is there any other option? :hrmm:

Im in Ireland and as everyone knows we get a LOT of rain. I have used Woly Protector 3x3 Spray on my nano noe. It didnt affect the leather in any way, it didn't make the vachetta discolour or streak or anything. I was nervous when I first sprayed it on the leather because it did darken it but once it dried it was its perfect, lovely bright new leather.

Just note though that I havent actually taken it out in the rain and alowed it to get wet either before or after spraying it so I cannot comment on the actual effectiveness of the spray, I just know that using that particular spray didnt damage my bag.

If that rant is any way helpful to you

Great tips thanks!

The Collonil sounds familiar. @DamierEbene what are your experience with rain?

I use Collonil Carbon Pro on all my bags which you can order from Amazon or directly from Collonil.

I've done a demo to show the process when using Collonil. Second pic is my address tag sprayed with Collonil. The third and fourth pic after drying has a few drops of water on the tag and you can see it doesn't soak into the leather. Last pic tag fully dry. Highly recommend it!
