Yes i do, i bought a vachetta stap from an etsy seller. I didn't want to buy the real one from LV because it's so expensive for me personally, and its thicker in size than I would like for this bag. So the one i have from etsy i think is about 1cm in width, has the gold lobster clasp, and the red glazing. I wear it casually but also for brunch and that kind of thing :)
I might try to get a gold chain one day for evening wear, but i find the original vachetta strap is cute for evenings anyway. Perhaps i will get a hold chain for like weddings or something!

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that as I know how much you've wanted this bag. LV really need to get their S**t together. It's so frustrating for clients when this happens, which has been a lot lately.

ooh that’s a good idea!! I did think about that option but wasn’t sure which colour strap to go for. I wonder if it would look strange with a brown coloured strap, like the Damier Ebene Alma strap?
Yes I was looking at the 16mm monogram LV strap but was thinking it might be a bit too thick for the bag! I don’t want to overpower it.

Yes I am also thinking about the brown Damier Ebene. Does anyone wears the PA mono with brown strap?

Yeah i think brown DE strap will look really good! My sister uses a black slightly thicker strap from another of her bags and it looks good- gives a macassar feel which i love!To be honest i just went with the vachetta because it matches the tab at the end

LV also sell the vachetta strap which is 12mm which my etsy one looks like but about 1/10th of the price haha. I think 16mm is too thick for the bag but just my personal opinion. Having said that if i had a pochette metis strap i would probably use it lol!

oooh that does look so good! This is my first LV piece (how exciting) and I’m concerned about getting a vachetta strap. I want a bag I can use without worrying about it or babying it - I have one of the pastel Gucci Marmonts from their recent collection and whilst I love it it’s so impractical as I can’t wear it with dark clothing/any denim as it will stain horrendously. I want something versatile so maybe getting a felicie style chain and a darker Damier Ebene style strap is the way to go for me :biggrin:

not to get ahead of myself... I’ll wait for it to actually ship first LOL!
