Has anyone ordered from Nichola Jane in the last year or two?
Any other raves or rants that are from not very many years ago? Previous threads are not useful because most of the sellers have moved on from etsy.

I like the look of the leather on the second one and the slanted flap is interesting, but then it loses me on the right side-too messy looking.

I've been intrigued by Laurel Dasso's bags over the years but never taken the plunge. I like the look of this one: https://www.etsy.com/listing/205063691/medium-leather-east-west-bag-laurel?ref=shop_home_active_22

I have a couple of bags in this style- roomy but stylish. The leathers that she has are scrumptious. While I love Laurel's bags and she is so wonderful to work with, I prefer MM bags. MM bags just look more high end with the quality of the workmanship.

This style looks gorgeous and very modern. I looked at the Massaccesi thread but the bags are kinda boring (think I upset them by proferring my opinion lol). I don't get excited at the same old bag in ten different leathers, whatever anyone else says they don't look different in different colours. It's all in the details on the bag and this one has it!! I was directed to your thread by @soramillay and Im delighted to follow your search for indie bags :smile:

Oh thanks! I don't get much traction with my interest in indie bags! I need more company! I love my one massaccesi bag and I love my premier bags and I love my etsy bags and I just love great bags!!!! I don't really shop contemporary bags outside of mz wallace and massaccesi so far but only because I haven't found any others that suit my style.

The price point of many etsy bag makers is really appealing as an alternative to contemporary bags, for me, when the workmanship is top notch, and the ability to customize your bag is awesome!

I read this thread and started working with Laurel Dasso last night to customize a bag (leather ideas and bag shape ideas from me, then she sent me photos of options, all amazing). This woman never says no! I tried to find MM bags online, but the website was not working for me last night. I will post when I receive my bag. This thread helped me!
